Welcome to the Dawai Rider Application. As a delivery partner, your privacy and data security are our top priority. This policy explains the specific data we collect from you, including continuous location tracking required for order dispatching.

Prominent Disclosure: Background Location

The Dawai Rider App collects location data to enable smart order dispatching and calculate estimated delivery times. This app collects location data even when the app is closed or not in use. This background location tracking is necessary so our system can locate the nearest available driver to a pharmacy within our 30-second dispatch window. You can manage these permissions in your device settings.

Information We Collect

To register you as a verified driver and facilitate payouts, we collect:

Profile Data: Full name, phone number, and a profile photo.
Vehicle & Identification: Driver's license details, national ID, and vehicle registration info.
Financial Data: Wallet or bank account details to process your delivery earnings.

How Your Data is Shared

To ensure a smooth delivery process, limited information is shared with other app users:

With Customers: Your first name, profile picture, and live location are shared with the customer while you are delivering their order.
With Pharmacies: Your name and estimated time of arrival so they can prepare the order for pickup.

Your Data Rights

You have full control over your account. You can request to delete your rider account and associated data (including location history and financial details) by contacting our support team or navigating to the Account Deletion page.
